A natural oasis
Albarella Island is a natural oasis in the Po Delta Regional Park, 30 kilometers from Chioggia, and is one of the most elegant and well-kept destinations in the Adriatic.
Among its lagoons, valleys and woods of maritime pines, landscapes recognized with two UNESCO awards, World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve, live thousands of specimens of animals belonging to wild species, that contribute to create a unique ecosystem within the Island.
The island covers 528 hectares of Mediterranean maquis, with 2 million trees and 150 different arboreal species, including the maritime pine and the white poplar, Populus Alba, from which the island takes its name.Surrounded by lagoon and sea, 100% of its surface is under strict environmental protection.
The beach
The Island of Albarella, easily accessible tank to its connection to the mainland via a bridge, has been several times,awarded with the Blue Flag.
The clear sea washes the coast of fine sand that extends for 2.5 kilometers and reaches a depth of 180 meters, offering the opportunity to break down any type of sport.
The beach is comfortably equipped and provides all the services, allowing you to choose between sea and lagoon.
A paradise for sportspeople
Non solo per il golf, le strade senza traffico dell'isola e i percorsi sterrati diventano lo scenario perfetto per praticare ciclismo, running, nordic walking o semplicemente camminare respirando aria incontaminata. Si può nuotare liberamente scegliendo tra mare e laguna, oppure preferire di passeggiare a cavallo, frequentare un corso di tennis o praticare diving. All’interno dell’Isola si trovano anche campi da calcio e da beach volley, quattro piscine di cui una olimpionica, un campo di esercitazione per il tiro con l’arco, la scuola di vela, windsurf, kite, sup ed equitazione.
Not only for golf, the traffic-free roads of the island and the dirt roads become the perfect scenery for cycling, running, Nordic walking or just walking while breathing uncontaminated air. You can swim freely choosing between sea and lagoon, or prefer to go horseback riding, attend a tennis course or practice diving. Inside the island there are also football fields and beach volley fields, four swimming pools, one of which is an Olympic, an exercise field for archery, sailing school, windsurfing, kite, sup and horse riding.
